Katrine has 13 years experience at board level and particular experience of change management in fast growing, high profile entrepreneurially driven organisations.
She has held senior finance positions in companies including Dell Computers, Virgin Retail Ltd and the Conran Restaurant Group. Whilst at Dell she was also responsible for centralising the Customer Care division for the UK businesses.
Katrine has a track record of delivering improved profits and margins through bringing increased focus to the businesses she is involved with. She spent 5 years as UK Finance Director of the Blenheim Exhibition Group where over an 18-month period, UK profits doubled on stable turnover. She worked for the Hotgroup plc as an Interim Finance Director to drive the acquisition and integration of Workthing and Peoplebank from the Guardian Media Group. Immediately prior to acquisition these businesses had been running at an annualised loss of £3.3m, which was turned to breakeven within 10 weeks.
A Chartered Accountant, Katrine graduated from Glasgow University and has recently returned to Scotland after 18 years in London.
