With a professional background in Business Development and Programme Management, John has over 10 years management experience.
He has a successful career spanning diverse industry sectors such as Manufacturing, Technology, Media, Logistics and Outsourcing.
Within these business and industry sectors John has held key management positions with world-class and blue chip companies such as Motorola, Modus Media International and Unisys. Previous positions held have included European Programme Manager, Business Development Manager, Customer Services Manager and Technical Manufacturing Manager.
Within these positions John has gained significant management experience on a global basis with several key assignments being delivered in Scandinavia, North America, China and South-East Asia.
John joined beCogent in May 2002 as Business Manager with responsibility for managing and developing key strategic client accounts. Through the delivery of highly successful business models on behalf of key clients John made a major contribution to the rapid growth of beCogent through 2003 and 2004. This contribution was recognised with John being appointed Director of Client Services in 2005 and now holds the position of Commercial Director.
In October 2004 John was formally recognised as beCogent “ Manager of the Year”.
